Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup - Paneer / Cottage Cheese, diced
  2. 2 Tablespoon - Butter
  3. 1" piece, Ginger,grated
  4. 6 - Garlic cloves, grated
  5. 2 - Small Tomato, diced
  6. 2 - Medium Onion, diced
  7. 1 - Small Green Bell Pepper, diced
  8. For Masala Mix : 2 Tablespoon - Butter, softened
  9. 2 Tablespoon - Vegetable Oil
  10. 1 Teaspoon - Cumin Powder
  11. 2 Teaspoon - Coriander Powder
  12. 11/2 Teaspoon - Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
  13. 1 Teaspoon - Garam Masala / Kitchen King Masala Powder
  14. Salt as required
  15. 1 Teaspoon - Powdered Sugar
  16. 1/3 Cup - Cream
  17. 1/3 Cup - Sliced onion, deep fried

Instructions

  1. Keep the diced Paneer soaked in warm / hot water till you use them in recipe. This will help them to remain soft.
  2. Heat a pan, add butter when it melts, add the grated ginger and garlic and stir fry. Add all the other veggies, add sugar and salt and mix well. Cook for a minute or two till soft (not mushy) and keep aside.
  3. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl add all the ingredients mentioned under 'For Masala Mix'.
  4. Drain the water from paneer and add it to the other veggies. Mix well.
  5. Add the masala mix that we have prepared. If you want add very little water here. Add the cream and Mix well. Make sure not to break the paneer.
  6. After a minute, switch off the gas and add the deep fried, sliced onion over the paner.
  7. Serve hot with Naan / Roti / Rice
