Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour - 1 bowl
  2. Semolina - 2 tablespoons
  3. Oil - 4 tablespoons
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Asafoetida - a pinch
  7. Boil potato - 4-5 mashed
  8. Red chilly powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Frozen peas - 1 handful
  13. Green chilly- 2 chopped

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, semolina, salt, 2 tablespoons oil and knead a tight dough with water and keep aside.
  2. Make small balls with dough and roll them into poori size circles with rolling pin. Prick all taco with a fork
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai. Place the taco in kadhai and press with skimmer. Now turn the taco and fold it half. Do not press it. Between the fold there should be a space for potato filling. Fry them until light golden brown and crisp.
  4. Heat oil in a kadhai add asafoetida and cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add frozen peas and saute for a minute now add mashed potato and all the above ingredients. Mix well and saute for 5 minuts. Switch off the flame and let it cool.
  5. Now fill potato filling in tacos shells and serve with your favourite chutney.
