Methi bhaji with daal fry, very tasty side dish that can be had with rice or roti.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. I big bunch - Methi leaves
  2. 1/2 Cup - Chana dal soaked
  3. 1/2 Cup - toor dal soaked
  4. 4 - Dry whole red chilies (can be soaked)
  5. 5 tbsp - Oil
  6. 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  7. A pinch - Asafoetida
  8. 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds. When they splutter add methi leaves, turmeric powder, asafoetida and stir.
  2. Coarsely grind the dal with red chilies and a little salt. Add it to the methi bhaji. Adjust the salt and add dhaniya and jeera powder, Stir fry till done and then serve hot.
