Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Besan - 2 Cup
  2. Sooji - 1/2 Cup
  3. Lemon - 1
  4. Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated
  5. Sugar - 4 tsp
  6. Salt - 11/2 tsp
  7. ENO - 1 sachet
  8. Coriander leaves - 4 tsp, chopped
  9. Oil
  10. Raw Coconut - 2 tsp
  11. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  12. Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  13. Paneer as required
  14. Tomato Sauce - as required
  15. Coriander Chutney - as required
  16. Buttermilk - as required
  17. Water - as required

Instructions

  1. Take besan and sooji in a bowl and add ginger, 2tsp sugar and prepare a batter by adding buttermilk.
  2. Now add salt and lemon juice, mix well and keep aside for few minutes.
  3. Now take microwave safe dish and grease with oil. Add ENO to the batter and mix well.
  4. Pour this batter into the dish and tap to make it even then cover and steam for 8 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile prepare tadka by heating oil in a pan then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, water and leftover sugar and cook until sugar gets dissolved. Take out the dhokla and cut into square pieces and then slice them diagonally.
  6. Take take one piece and apply chutney then put paneer piece cut in square and then spread tomato sauce over it and put the other piece of dhokla over it. Spread tomato sauce on top again. Pour the tadka over these and garnish with coriander leaves & coconut. Serve.
