Dates shredded..1cup
Water.. 1/4 cup
Boiled mashed potatoes.. 2/3 cup
Butter.. 125 gms
Castor sugar.. 3/4 cup
orange peel ..1tbsp
Eggs..2
Self raising flour..1cup
baking powder ..1/2tsp

Instructions

Boil dates in water.. Let it cool.. Add mashed potatoes to this mix
Mix buyer and sugar till creamy.. Put eggs in this and beat till fluffy.. Now add the date potato mix to this mixture
Add orange peels to this...keep adding flour and baking pwdr..
Preheat the oven for 10 min Now grease a cake tin and put themixture in this tin and bake for 50 min. @170deg.
Cool on a cooling rack and cut into pieces and serve with tea coffee
