It's sweet and sour. You can preserve this for a year. Kids love this.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Raw mango - 6
  2. Sugar - 4 Cup
  3. Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  4. Saffron a pinch
  5. Black salt - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate mangoes.
  2. Heat a pan and add grated mango and sugar. Stir continuously till the sugar melts. Add cardamom powder and saffron. Keep stirring till you get a 2 string consistency of sugar syrup. Add salt ( if using for fasting then omit salt)
  3. In a low flame countinuous stir...when 2 strings appear switch off the flame it takes mostly 6 to 7 minutes to make now mix salt.
  4. Mix well and take out the murabba in a bowl.
  5. When completely cool put it in a glass jar and preserve it in refrigerator.
