ABOUT Peanuts Podi RECIPE

Podi made out of roasted peanuts, can have with idlies, dosas, breads, khakras.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Peanuts - 200 gm
  2. Red chili powder - 2 tsp
  3. 2-3 pieces - Tamarind
  4. salt as per taste
  5. Oil - 1 tsp
  6. Jaggery (optional) - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Roast peanuts on low heat and then remove the inner skin from them.
  2. In a grinding jar add red chili powder, salt, jaggery, tamarind and grind and then sieve the mixture through the large holes of a sieve.
  3. Add oil and mix with fingers. Your peanut podi is ready. Store in air tight containers.
