ABOUT Murgh Masala RECIPE

Chicken cooked in a spicy masala gravy that is delicious in taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken - 1/2 kg
  2. Oil - 100 ml
  3. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Onions - 2 chopped
  6. Ginger garlic and green chilli paste - 8 tsp
  7. Coconut powder - 3 tsp
  8. Khas khas - 2 tsp
  9. Almond paste - 3 tsp
  10. Jawatri jayfal powder - 1 tsp
  11. Curd - 150 grams
  12. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  13. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  14. Dhaniya powder - 2 tsp
  15. Longa mirch - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken very well apply some lime juice and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add garam masala, green cardamom ahwen ot gives aroma add chopped onions fry till golden brown
  3. Remove half of the onions grind them with jawatri jaifal powder and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan add ginger garlic and green chilli paste and turmeric powder saute for 5 mins, add curd and saute till oil separates. Add chicken pieces and lings mirch cook for 5-7 mins on high flame.
  5. Add ground onion, jawatri, jayfal paste saute well, add powder of khas khas and coconut saute well, add almond paste and saute well. Now add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and salt cook till oil separates.
  6. Murgh masala is ready to serve.
