Murgh Masala

Ingredients to make Murgh Masala

  • chicken - 1/2 kg
  • oil - 100 ml
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • onions - 2 chopped
  • ginger garlic and green chilli paste - 8 tsp
  • coconut powder - 3 tsp
  • Khas khas - 2 tsp
  • almond paste - 3 tsp
  • Jawatri jayfal powder - 1 tsp
  • curd - 150 grams
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Dhaniya powder - 2 tsp
  • Longa mirch - 1/2 tsp

How to make Murgh Masala

  1. Wash the chicken very well apply some lime juice and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add garam masala, green cardamom ahwen ot gives aroma add chopped onions fry till golden brown
  3. Remove half of the onions grind them with jawatri jaifal powder and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan add ginger garlic and green chilli paste and turmeric powder saute for 5 mins, add curd and saute till oil separates. Add chicken pieces and lings mirch cook for 5-7 mins on high flame.
  5. Add ground onion, jawatri, jayfal paste saute well, add powder of khas khas and coconut saute well, add almond paste and saute well. Now add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and salt cook till oil separates.
  6. Murgh masala is ready to serve.
