Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 gm - Paneer
  2. 1 Cup - Chaach (buttermilk)
  3. 1 - Lal mirch desi papad
  4. 1 tablespoon - Oil
  5. For garnishing : 1 Tomato
  6. 2 tablespoon - Pudina chutney

Instructions

  1. Dry roast papad in microwave for 1 minute or on a non stick tawa till both sides are roasted well. Crush papad with hands into small pieces.
  2. Cut paneer in long thick strips.
  3. Spread crushed papad pieces in a plate.
  4. Dip paneer pieces in Chaach and then roll them in papad crumble so that crushed papad gets stuck on paneer.
  5. On a non-stick tawa, spread 1 spoon of oil. Shallow fry paneer and turn them so that all sides get golden brown. Make all the paneer poppers the same way.
  6. For serving, cut tomato from middle, scoop out the flesh and fill in with pudina chutney.
  7. On a platter, serve Paneer Poppers with tomato cups filled with pudina chutney and garnish with roasted papad pieces.
