ABOUT Mango Pudding RECIPE

Easy to prepare. Kids friendly and healthy. Variety of other fruits can be used instead of Mango.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Semolina – ½ Cup
  2. Ghee – 2-3 tbs
  3. Warm Milk – 1/2 Cup
  4. Mango pulp/ puree - 1/2 Cup
  5. Cream – ½ Cup
  6. Sugar – 2-3 tbs
  7. Ripe mango – peeled and diced (Mostly Alphonso)
  8. Almonds – 3-4 (peeled and sliced)
  9. Cashew nuts – 3-4 (sliced)
  10. Green cardamom powder – ½ tbs
  11. Nutmeg powder – ¼ tbs
  12. Kesar strands – 5-6
  13. Warm water if required
  14. For Garnishing - Mango pulp / Slices, Cashew nuts Chocolate Syrup.

Instructions

  1. Add ghee to a hot pan. Add Semolina or Suji and roast well till it gets a light brownish color. Add diced Mangoes and mix well.
  2. Add cashew nuts, almonds, kesar strands. Mix well and add cardamom, nutmeg powder, sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add milk, cream and Mango puree. Mix well. Cook for 6-7minutes on low flame. Add warm water if required.
  4. Plating – Take muffin mold. Add the mixture and press well. Keep for 1 minute. De-mold it and garnish with Cashew nuts, mango pulp and slices and chocolate syrup.
