ABOUT Healthy Open Sandwich RECIPE

A very healthy and yummy sandwich that can be cooked in nick of time.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat bread slices - 4
  2. Boiled potatoes - 2, medium
  3. Grated carrot - 2
  4. Finely chopped onion - 1 tablespoon
  5. Grated cabbage - 1 tablespoon
  6. Cheese slice - 1
  7. salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  8. chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  9. coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  11. olive Oil for brushing


  1. First mix all mentioned ingredients except bread and oil.
  2. Mash all the ingredients nicely with hands. Ensure there are no lumps.
  3. Brush oil in a non stick pan and keep it on low flame.
  4. Take a bread slice and spread ready mixture evenly on it.
  5. Now roast mixture side slice on slow flame in the hot pan. When side becomes golden brown flip it.
  6. Roast evenly on both sides till golden brown and crisp. Serve it with ketchup or green chutney.
