Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 grams - Tilapia or Basa Fish Fillets cut in medium size
  2. 1 Cup - Thin coconut milk + 1/2 cup thick coconut milk
  3. 1 - Small raw green mango, peeled, stone removed and cut into small pieces
  4. 1 tsp - Mustard seeds
  5. 10-14 - Curry leaves
  6. 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  8. 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  9. 1 tsp - Cumin powder
  10. 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  11. 1-2 - Green chili chopped depending on the hotness of the chilies used
  12. 1 tbsp - Garam Masala
  13. 1 tbsp - Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Allow it to splutter. Add cumin seeds.
  2. Mix turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, chopped green chilies with 1/4th cup water.
  3. Add the same to pan. Add 1 cup thin coconut water and chopped mango pieces. Bring it to boil.
  4. Add fish pieces, salt to taste and garam masala. Add thick coconut milk and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Serve with steamd boiled rice.
