A delicious prawn curry with delicate flavor of raw mango.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Prawns - 250 gm
  2. Green Mango - 1 small, chopped in cubes
  3. Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  5. Coconut - 1
  6. Kashmiri chilies - 5
  7. Dhania seeds - 1 tsp
  8. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry patta - 5 Leaves
  10. Green chilies - 2
  11. Onion - 1 sliced
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Few chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Mix the ginger garlic paste with salt and haldi. Keep aside. Grind the coconut, red chilies, dhania and pepper with enough water to make a paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, green chilies, and then the onion. Fry the onion till soft. Add the prawns and stir.
  3. Add the ground paste, mango, salt and 1 cup water and cook for 5 mins. Add one piece of kokam for additional taste. Sprinkle little coriander and serve with white rice.
