ABOUT Moong Dal Paratha RECIPE

Moong dal paratha is very common Sindhi breakfast dish. It is healthy as well as delicious to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Moong dal - 1 Katori
  2. Onion, chopped - 1/2
  3. Salt - 1/4 spoon
  4. Green chilli - 3, chopped
  5. Ginger paste - 1/4 tsp
  6. Amchur powder - 1/4 spoon
  7. Chat masala - 1/4 spoon
  8. Fresh coriander, chopped - 1 tbsp
  9. Whole wheat flour - 1 katori

Instructions

  1. Soak yellow moong dal for one hour.
  2. Sift atta with salt and knead by adding moin. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  3. Boil the dal with little salt in an open vessel. Make sure it does not get over cooked. Strain all the water and spread the dal on thali to dry.
  4. Mix rest of the ingredients in boiled dal to make the stuffing ready.
  5. Roll Paratha as we normally do and enjoy with curd.
