ABOUT Vegetable crispy RECIPE

This vegetable crispy is one of my kid's favorite recipe.Kids are the most fussy eaters and to make them eat the veggies is the most difficult task for the mothers,but do not worry.This vegetable crispy is the best option for the kids,who hate vegetables on their plates,as this dish is crispy,tangy,spicy and chatpata!So kids can't deny for this yum yum recipe. I have added few variety of veggies,but you can add more according to your choice.This vegetable crispy is a quick recipe that you can make for your evening snacks or for birthday parties or any kind of  get together at your home.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 8 to 10 button mushrooms(halved)
  2. 1 green capsicum(in square shape)
  3. 6 to 8 baby corns(diagonally sliced)
  4. 1 medium sized broccoli(cut it in small florets)
  5. 1 medium sized raw potato (sliced)
  6. 3 TBSP cornflour
  7. 4 tbsp refined flour
  8. Black pepper powder-2 tsp
  9. oil for Deep frying
  10. salt as per taste
  11. For sauce - 1 tsp chopped garlic
  12. 2 tsp chili garlic paste
  13. 2 tsp tomato ketchup
  14. 1 tsp white vinegar
  15. 1 tsp red chili powder (optional)
  16. 1 onion thin round sliced 
  17. 2 to 3 Green chilies(chopped)(optional) 
  18. salt as per taste


  1. Firstly take all the vegetables in a bowl and mix 1 tbsp refined flour in it. Rub it well on the veggies add a pinch of salt and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Now take another bowl add apf ,cornflour powder,salt,pepper powder and water, Whisk it properly to avoid lumps and make a smooth paste like we make for the pakora batter.
  3. Then take a wok add oil in it (for deep fry)
  4. Dip one by one all the veggies in the batter and deep fry in batches.
  5. When the veggies turn crispy and fried take them out and put them on an absorbent paper.
  6. Now take another wok add 1 tsp oil.Heat it up.
  7. Add onions,chopped garlic and green chilies in it.
  8. Saute it for few minutes.
  9. Now add chili garlic and tomato ketchup in it.
  10. Stir it nicely add salt,chili powder and vinegar in it.
  11. Your sauce is ready.
  12. Now take the bowl of your fried vegetables and pour the sauce on it and mix it gently.
  13. Your Vegetable crispy is ready to enjoy.
