Nice, Creamy and delicious butter paneer cooked in a tomato gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 Kg Cottage cheese
  2. 300 gm red tomatoes
  3. 1 large onion
  4. 4 green chilies
  5. 1 Stick cinnamon
  6. 4 GREEN CARDAMOM
  7. 2 Clove
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Red chili powder 1 tbsp or to taste
  10. kasoori methi powder2 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  12. ginger, garlic paste 1 tsp
  13. 1 medium red bell pepper
  14. Cashew nut paste 1/1/2 tbsp you can use broken cashew nut too
  15. FRESH CREAM 2 TBSP
  16. Desi ghee 1 tsp
  17. Butter 50 gm
  18. coriander and cream for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Wash and roughly cut the tomatoes, In a heavy bottom pan put tomatoes, green chili, salt, cinnamon, onion, cardamom, cloves and 2 cup water, cook it for 15 minutes .
  2. Blend the red capsicum and make a smooth puree in blender. Cool and blend the cooked tomato mixer and sieve it.
  3. Heat the ghee saute the ginger, garlic paste. Add tomato puree, garam masala powder, red chili powder and capsicum puree .
  4. cook with stirring to 5 minutes. Now add cashew nut paste, kasoori methi powder cook for 5 minute then add paneer cubes again cook for 10 minute add 2 tbsp cream mix well, stir 2 minute more, switch off the gas.
  5. Garnish with coriander, cream and ginger Julian, serve hot with laccha paratha or rumali roti.
