Yummy Organic Carrot Cake, for everyday tea snacks or can be served as a dessert for dinner parties.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida 1.5 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. carrot peeled and grated 1 cup
  4. cinnamon 2 pinches
  5. Raisins 1/4 Cup
  6. Salt a pinch
  7. Eggs 2
  8. Oil 1/3 cup
  9. Baking powder 1/2 tbsp
  10. baking soda 1/4 tbsp
  11. Vanilla extract few drops


  1. Beat the oil and sugar , till the mixture is paste like and smooth. Add the eggs one by one, while whisking the mixture.
  2. Sieve in the maida, salt, cinnamon powder , baking soda and baking powder into the egg mixture, fold everything in.
  3. Now finally add the grated carrots into the cake batter, make sure that the mixture is now over mixed.
  4. Pour this mixture into a greased baking tray, bake this at 170 degree celsius, in a preheated oven for 35-40 minutes.
  5. Once a skewer poked inside the cake, comes out clean, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down.
  6. Decorate the cake with a butter frosting or cream cheese frosting of your choice . Chill the cake, cut it into slices and serve.
