Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for RestaurantStyle Paneer Makhan masala : 1 cup Paneer cubes
  2. 2 big sized onions roughly chopped
  3. 5 big sized tomatoes roughly chopped
  4. 7- 8 garlic cloves
  5. 4 green cardomoms
  6. 1 inch piece of cinnamon
  7. 1 inch ginger chopped
  8. 2 green chilies
  9. 1 tbsp oil
  10. 1/2 Cup butter
  11. 1/4 cup fresh cream
  12. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1 tsp kasoori methi powder
  14. 1 -1/2 tbsp kashmiri lal mirch powder
  15. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  16. 2 tsp dhaniya powder [coriander powder]
  17. 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  18. Ingredients for Naan: 2 cups maida
  19. 1/4 tsp baking powder
  20. 3 tbsp curd
  21. 1tsp melted butter + extra butter for greasing
  22. 1/4 tsp oil
  23. Warm water as per requirement
  24. Chopped coriander leaves to sprinkle


  1. Heat a pan and add Onions , tomatoes , green chilies, garlic. Now add Cinnamon, Cardomoms.
  2. Add kashmiri lal mirch powder and 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt. Cover it with a lid and cook it for 5 minutes on low flame.
  3. Now add 2 cups water and again cook it for 5 minutes on medium flame. You can add more water if required. Let it cool down and blend it well using a blender and sieve it.
  4. Take another pan and add oil and after few seconds add butter. Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute it on low flame.
  5. Add the sieved mixture into it. Also add Garam masala and cover it with lid and cook for another 5 minutes on low flame.
  6. Now add kasoori methi and paneer. Add salt as per taste and sugar if u like to add and mix it well and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Now add cream and stir it continuously on low flame cook it for 5 more minutes. Your Paneer Butter Masala is ready to serve.
  8. Method for Special Tawa Naan : Mix maida, curd, baking powder, 1tsp melted butter, oil and make a soft dough using warm water. Rest it for 2 hours.
  9. Divide the into equal sized balls. Flatten them using rolling pin and give them an oval shape.
  10. Heat the tawa. Apply water on one side and place sesame seeds on it. Now apply water on another side and place it on tawa with this side down on tawa.
  11. When bubbles start coming out invert the tawa on gas and let the naan to get cooked. Once done, remove the naan from tawa with the help of tong.
  12. Apply melted butter and sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
