ABOUT Mango Kanchagolla RECIPE

This is a traditional recipe with a twist . Here I have added mango to give a nice flavour and fruity aroma .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ripe mango pulp -1 (big)
  2. Cottage cheese - 1cup ( crumbled)
  3. Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  4. Milk Powder - 1/2 cup
  5. Ghee- 1 tabsp
  6. Green cardamom powder -1tsp
  7. Yellow food colour - a pinch
  8. Mango papad & cherries - for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add mango pulp and cook for 2 minutes till it slightly thickens and gives a nice creamy texture.
  2. Now add cottage cheese ,milk powder and condensed milk one by one . Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes on a medium flame.
  3. Add cardamom powder.Stir well.Make sure it doesn't dries up completely.The texture should be slight moist.
  4. Switch off the flame. Let it cool down. Take paper cups and pour a lemon size of mango mixture in it. Garnish with mango papad and cherries.
