ABOUT Mohanthal RECIPE

A Gujrati sweet dish made during Janmashtami, a favourite sweet of Lord Krishna. Loaded with ghee and nuts, its an absolute delish to the palate.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm coursly cheakpea flour
  2. 1tbs milk
  3. 200 gm powder sugar
  4. 250 ghee
  5. Water as needed
  6. 1ts ilaychi powder
  7. 1tbs mix nuts

Instructions

  1. Add milk and crumble it.
  2. Rest for 15 minute
  3. Sieve it
  4. Take sugar and water in a pan and make sugar syrup thread 1.1/2
  5. Take pan added with ghee
  6. Heat ghee add the flour saute till brown
  7. Than add sugar syrup , mix continusly
  8. Ghee come out from mixture , switch off the flame
  9. Set in greased thali
  10. Rest till set
  11. Cut in to pieces
  12. Ready to serve
