ABOUT Maliday Kay Ladoo RECIPE

An authentic Memonite recipe, this is made on special occasions including weddings.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour- 500 gm
  2. Ghee 1 cup- heaped
  3. Milk 2 – 2 ½ cups
  4. Gur- 200 gm
  5. Almonds pistachios and raisins- 4 tbsp each
  6. Flaked coconut - ½ cup
  7. Green cardamom ground- 1 tsp heaped
  8. Nutmeg ground- ½ tsp
  9. Mace ground ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. In large bowl mix flour and ghee, knead with milk to form into a dough.
  2. Make into muthias and deep fry.
  3. When cool chopperize and keep aside
  4. In a wok heat 2 tbsp. ghee
  5. Add in 200 gms gur when gur melts add this to the chopperized mixture
  6. Mix well add almonds, raisins, pistachios, flaked coconut, green cardamom ground, nutmeg ground ½ tsp., mace ground ½ tsp.
  7. Shape into ladoos and serve.
