ABOUT Falooda sev / noodles RECIPE

Falooda sev is usually made with corn flour or arrow root .. but here I have used custard powder to give it a healthy twist .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup -cornflour / custard powder ( vanilla flavour )
  2. 2 and 1/2 table spoon- sugar
  3. 1and 1/2 cups - water
  4. One big bowl of ice cold water
  5. oil for greasing the sev machine

Instructions

  1. Mix water sugar and custard powder in a bowl
  2. Now heat a non stick pan and pour this mixture into it .
  3. cook on medium to low flame and keep stirring to avoid lumps .
  4. Keep stirring till it becomes thick and then put the gas off .
  5. Transfer little portion this mixture into the sev machine
  6. Now start making the sev and the sev should directly go into the bowl of ice cold water .

  8. Do not touch the noodles as there are very fragile at this stage .
  9. Refrigerate them for at least one hour and then serve with any kulfi of your choice or Rabri .
