Ingredients Serving: 3
mushrooms – 300 gms cut into halves
onions – 1 medium finely chopped
tomato - 1 medium finely chopped
ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1 tbsp
Dry red chillies – 3
peppercorns – 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
coriander seeds – 1 tsp
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
oil – 3 tbsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Instructions
Heat few drops of oil in a pan. Add dry red chilies, peppercorns, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fry them till the raw smell goes off. Let it cool down and grind them to a fine powder.
Heat the remaining oil. Add half of the curry leaves, onions and ginger garlic paste and saute them till the onions turn soft.
Add the tomatoes and saute them till they become mushy. Add the mushrooms and red chili powder, salt, garam masala and saute till the water released by mushroom dries up which might take approx 10 mins or little more.
Add the ground masala powder and the left over curry leaves. Stir and mix well till the masala gets blend nicely with mushroom.
Fry for about 5 mins and take off the flame.
