Ashalata Akerkar is my mom, this is her recipe and i relish it a lot.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  2. 6 Mankurad Mangoes
  3. 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar
  4. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Deskin mangoes and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Add sugar to it and keep aside for half an hour.
  3. Add pinch of salt. Mix the mango pulp and the sugar together in a heavy bottomed saucepan , on a low flame.
  4. When it thickens and looks transparent, that means it is done.
  5. Let it get cooled and store it in a container.
