ABOUT Chicken curry RECIPE

A beautiful and easy chicken recipe that can easily be prepared at any given time.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 kg chicken
  2. 3 large sized onions grinded and made a paste
  3. 2 large sized tomatoes pureed
  4. 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 2 tsp cumin powder
  8. 2 tsp coriander powder
  9. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  10. 2 tbsp Oil
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Handful of coriander chopped to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the the onion paste, garlic & ginger paste, saute and cook till it turns golden brown in colour.
  2. Next add in the tomato puree and mix it well. Then put in the powdered spices along with salt to taste.
  3. Now add the chicken pieces into this mixture. Stir and fry till they turn into a beautiful golden brown colour.
  4. Then pour in 1/2 cup of water. Cover with a lid and let it simmer till the chicken is properly cooked.
  5. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve with rice/roti as desired.
