ABOUT Healthy Frittata RECIPE

Frittata is an Italian dish. The main ingredient is an egg. Can be prepared using various veg, non-veg fillings. I have used lots of veggies in my dish. It’s very light and healthy option.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 eggs. Lightly beaten
  2. 2 garlic cloves​ minced
  3. ¼th small cup red capsicum finely chopped
  4. 1/4th cup yellow capsicum finely chopped
  5. 1/4th cup carrots finely chopped
  6. 3-4 button Mushrooms thoroughly cleaned and finely chopped.
  7. half onion finely chopped
  8. 1 tbsp slim milk
  9. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 tbsp processed cheese
  12. 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c.
  2. In a non stick pan heat oil, add garlic, onions and cook till onions are brown.
  3. Add carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add red, yellow capsicums and Mushrooms. Cook for 2minutes.
  5. In a bowl mix eggs, milk, and red chilli flakes.
  6. Take the mixture in baking pan or tin and bake on 180°c for 15-20 minutes till golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Garnish with tomato sauce, capsicum slices, onion rings and mint leaves. Serve hot.
