ABOUT Semolina Upma RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup roasted suji
  2. 5-6 Curry Leaves
  3. 1 small onion chopped
  4. 1/2 cup green bell pepper and red bell pepper chopped
  5. 2 tbsp roasted peanuts
  6. 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
  7. 1 tbsp oil for tadka
  8. salt pepper to taste
  9. Water as per requirement

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan for tadka add mustard seeds and hand torn curry leaves
  2. Let them splutter
  3. Add turmeric powder
  4. Saute onion till pink in color for 2 minutes
  5. Add green and red bell pepper and saute for 3 minutes
  6. Add 2.5 cups water and let it boil
  7. Add roasted semolina in batches and keep stirring
  8. Add salt pepper powder to taste.
  9. Healthy upma is ready
  10. Garnish it with sev..serve hot!!
