ABOUT Pepper tawa fry chicken in sharry style RECIPE

I invited my friend for lunch and she is fond of eating non-veg, so I thought of trying some easy chicken recipe. I didn't want to grill it so I made this on a tawa with a few ingredients which are easily available at home. That's how I named this dish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chicken- 10 pieces
  2. Coriander leaves- 1/2 bunch
  3. Mint leaves- 1/2 bunch
  4. Pepper corns crushed -2 tbsp (as per taste)
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Garam masala powder- 2 tsp (home made)
  7. Chicken Masala powder- 1 tbsp
  8. Tandoori chicken masala powder-1 tbsp
  9. Vinegar- 1 tsp
  10. Curd/yogurt-1 small bowl
  11. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  12. Egg- 1
  13. Green chillies- 4
  14. Ginger-garlic paste- 2 tsp
  15. Oil-3 tbsp
  16. Curry leaves- a few sprigs

Instructions

  1. Grind the green chillies, mint, coriander, curd, salt 1 tsp, ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp of garam masala together. Make a fine paste of it.
  2. Take a vessel, add the egg, grounded paste, chicken, salt, pepper powder together and mix well. Let this marinate for 20 mins in the fridge.
  3. After 20 mins, add 2 tbsp oil in the marinated chicken and cook it on a tawa til the chicken is tender and brownish in color.
  4. Once the color changes add a few sprigs of curry leaves and serve it hot.
