This is a divine preparation with prawns where prawns are cooked with spices and coconut milk and yields a yummy, rich and thick semi sweet semi spicy dish

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Jumbo lobstar prawn 4 pieces
  2. 4 nedium Onion paste
  3. 6-7 garlic cloves paste
  4. 1 1/2 inch garlic paste
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Kasmiri red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  9. Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  10. Coconut milk 1 cup (I have used fresh Coconut milk)
  11. Mustard oil for frying the fishes and cooking
  12. Cardamom 2-3 green
  13. Cinnamon 1/2 inch
  14. Bay leaf 2-3
  15. Ghee 1 tsp
  16. Garam masala 1 tsp
  17. Green chillies for garnishing

Instructions

  1. First wash the prawns properly. Smear with turmeric and salt.
  2. Take oil in a pan and fry the fishes both sides for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in the same pan and add the whole garam masala. When they sparkle add the onion paste.
  4. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add the ginger garlic paste.
  5. Fry for 3 minutes. Now add the dry masala except garam masala.
  6. Add the tomato puree and stir continuously until the raw smell of tomto gone.
  7. Now add the coconut milk, salt and sugar.
  8. When the gravy starts boiling add the fishes and cook for five minutes.
  9. Switch off the flame and add ghee, garam masala and the chillies.
