Paneer Bhurji

Ingredients to make Paneer Bhurji

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1-2 green chillies
  • 1 medium sized tomato
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 cups paneer, crumbled
  • salt to taste

How to make Paneer Bhurji

  1. In a kadhai, heat oil and add jeera. Add Onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste
  2. Saute till the onions cook. Now add tomato and sauté till it becomes mushy
  3. Now add, red chilli, turmeric, garam masala and salt to taste
  4. Mix this for a minute. Add the crumbled Paneer. Mix gently
  5. Cover and let it cook for 2 mins. Make sure you don't over cook Paneer otherwise it becomes to chewy
  6. Serve bhurji with chapathi or best served with Pav
