ABOUT Chilli paneer RECIPE

A yummy and easy recipe of the most loved chilli paneer.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion- 1 large peeled and cubed
  2. Paneer- 200 grams cubed
  3. Capsicum or bell pepper- 1 large cubed
  4. Garlic-6 fat cloves chopped finely
  5. Ginger- 2 cm piece chopped finely
  6. Green chilli- 3 cut in diagnols
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Sugar- 1 tbsp
  9. Tomato ketchup- 2 tbsp or to taste
  10. Red chilli sauce- 1 tbsp or to taste
  11. Green chilli sauce- 1 tbsp or to taste
  12. Vinegar- 1tbsp or to taste
  13. Chilli powder- 1 tbsp
  14. Spring onion a handful finely chopped
  15. For frying:
  16. All purpose flour/maida- 3 tbsp
  17. Corn flour- 6 tbsp
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Sugar- 1/2 tbsp
  20. Pepper- 2 tbsp
  21. Soy sauce- 1 tbsp
  22. Water as needed
  23. Oil- 4 tbsp for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan. Take all the ingredients given for frying in a bowl, add in water and make it to slightly thin batter. Dip the paneer into the batter and fry till golden. Remove it to a plate.
  2. Mix all the sauces in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Now in the remaining oil (if there is no oil,add a tsp more oil). Add in ginger, garlic and chillies. Saute for a min.
  4. Add in onions, capsicum and saute for a couple of min. Add in salt, sugar and mix well. Add in chilli powder and sauces and mix well. Cook for a couple of mins.
  5. Add in the fried panel and toss. Add in spring onion and mix well. Serve with noodles or fried rice.
