ABOUT Kiwi ice cream RECIPE

A little tangy and sweet ice cream to tickle the palate.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk - 1 cup
  2. Condensed Milk - 1 Cup
  3. Cream - 3/4 th cup
  4. Sugar - 3 tbsp
  5. Cornflour - 2 tbsp
  6. Kiwis - 3
  7. Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat the milk and sugar, together in a saucepan on a low flame till the sugar dissolves.
  2. 2. Now add the condensed milk, vanilla essence and cook further for 6-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Dissolve the cornflour in some milk and add to the sugar milk mixture. Cook till it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon when dipped.
  4. 4. Now cool the mixture completely.
  5. 5. Whip the cream to form soft peaks. Keep aside.
  6. 6. Blend the kiwi to form a puree.
  7. 7. Now lightly fold in, a the three mixtures and refrigerate in the freezer. After am hour, mix the ice cream with a spoon and freeze again. Serve
