ABOUT Kokum Sherbat Concentrate RECIPE

Pure kokum flowers from source pickled and extract taken as sherbet to sooth cool your system.Exactly not taken as pickle though the ferment is similar.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 500 grams Fresh kokum
  2. 2 -3 cups/350 grams sugar


  1. Wash the kokum fruit well and cut open
  2. Discard the seeds
  3. May wash again so no foul smell remains
  4. Now add 1 cup sugar in base of jar and add the washed kokum
  5. Add more sugar on top again put the rest of kokum florets now
  6. Cover with lid and keep for 8 hrs overnight
  7. See that all syrup extracted.
  8. Now transfer the syrup in clean bottle after straining through mesh
  9. Enjoy this as sorbet and use the kokum flowers if you like in dal and curries
