Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Banana stem - 1
  2. Water – 1 cup
  3. Lemon – 1/2
  4. Curry leaves – few
  5. Hing – A generous pinch
  6. Yogurt – ½ cup

Instructions

  1. Peel the other skin of banana stem. This one comes off very easily. You no need to remove the thread like fibres. Grind it in a mixie with 200ml water.
  2. Filter the juice with a thin cotton cloth. Filtering with the regular ever silver strainers might not work out. Once filtered, dilute and make it to 300 ml.
  3. Combine yoghurt, Hing, salt, lemon, curry leaves with the diluted juice.
  4. Churn them nicely without any lumps.
  5. Pour the juice into ice popsicle moulds or ice popsicle covers. Make sure to fill up only up to 3/4th of the moulds as the contents would expand while freezing
  6. Freeze for a minimum of 6 hours.
  7. Once the popsicle is set, warm the outer portion of the popsicle with your hands or just dip it into warm water before consuming.
