Ingredients to make Sev Ki Sabzi

  • 1 bowl Bhavnagari Gathiya(Sev)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • salt to taste
  • 6-8 curry leaves
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Pinch of hing
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • water as required
  • Coriander for garnishing

How to make Sev Ki Sabzi

  1. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and mustard seeds let cumin seeds turn golden brown
  2. Add chopped onion and cook till onion become transparent.Add Hing, garlic paste and saute till it becomes light brown colour.
  3. Add chopped tomato and cook till tomatoes soften, add salt stir it for few minutes.
  4. Add dry masala, turmeric powder and stir it for few minutes so that masala will mix evenly.
  5. Now add water and let it boil for 4-5 minutes.when gravy is boiled well, turn off the flame.
  6. Take a gravy in a bowl add Gathiya(Sev) in it.
  7. Garnish with Sev and coriander leaves

My Tip:

You can also add Sev in boiling gravy.
