Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Medium size Pomfret 2
  2. Fresh coriander leaves 1cup
  3. Fresh mint leaves 1 cup
  4. Onion (medium size) 2
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  6. Turmeric powder 1tsp
  7. Green chillies 5-6
  8. Garam masala 1tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil as required
  11. Sliced Lemon and onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Clean and scrape the Pomfret.
  2. Slit the fish from one end to create a pouch, which is needed for stuffing masala
  3. Fring onions, coriander, green chillies and mint leaves in grinder to form coarse paste
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala and little turmeric and blend well
  5. Coat the fish on both sides and stuff the masala inside the fish
  6. Leave aside for 10mins
  7. In a non-stick pan, dribble few drops of oil
  8. Once hot, place the fishes and cook till done on low flame
  9. Flip the fish when done on one side, to evenly cook the fish
  10. Do the toothpick test to check if the fish is done
  11. Transfer to serving plate and garnish with onion and lemon
