It's a tasty ice cream with crunch

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 litre milk
  2. 8tbsp sugar
  3. 2tbsp cornflour
  4. 2tbsp GMS powder
  5. 2tbsp CMC powder
  6. Few drops butterscotch essence
  7. 1/2 tsp coffee powder
  8. 1/2cup fresh cream (use Amul cream)
  9. For crunches- sugar 1/2cup
  10. lemon juice 1tsp
  11. Few drops of water
  12. 1/2cup crushed walnuts or almonds


  1. Mix corn flour, GMS, CMC in milk
  2. Boil this milk on high flame
  3. Add sugar when milk goes thick turn off gas
  4. Cool mixture and beat it for 5 min.
  5. Freeze it for 4 to 5 hours
  6. For crunches-heat sugar with lemon juice and water
  7. When sugar melted and turn golden in colour turn off gas
  8. Add walnut in melted sugar. pour it in greased plate
  9. When sugar walnut Chikki cools crush into small pieces
  10. Ready to mix in icecream crunches
  11. Now beat ice cream with ice cream beater for 15 min
  12. Add fresh cream beat it.Add essence, crunches and coffee.
  13. Beat it for 5min
  14. Pour ice cream in an aluminium pot. Freeze it for 5 to 6 hours
  15. Serve chillled.
