Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 4 ripe tomatoes
  2. 1 onion
  3. 5..6 garlic cloves
  4. 1/2teaspoon urad dal
  5. 1 tablespoon oil
  6. 1/2teaspoon mustard seeds
  7. 3..4 dry red pepper
  8. 1 teaspoon sugar
  9. 1/2teaspoon salt
  10. 1 teaspoon curry leaves


  1. Peel and cut onion
  2. Peel garlic cloves
  3. Cut tomatoes
  4. In a pan put oil on a medium heat
  5. Add Mustard seeds
  6. Add urad dal
  7. Add red pepper
  8. Add curry leaves
  9. Add chopped onion and tomatoes
  10. Add salt and sugar
  11. Let it cook for 5 minutes
  12. Turn off the flame
  13. Let it cool down
  14. Now grind it to a smooth consistency
  15. Garnish with mustard and chilli tempering.
