ABOUT Beetroot carrot soup RECIPE

Beetroot carrot soup is healthy and delicious and its very easy to prepare. Good way of beetroot intake specially for those who dont like to eat raw beetroot. Helps in digestion and boosting immunity by increasing hemoglobin.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Half a beetroot
  2. Carrots - 2
  3. Tomato -1
  4. Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. black salt to taste
  8. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  9. Water as required
  10. Fresh cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel beetroot and carrots. Cut into cubes tomato, carrots and beetroot.
  2. In a blender add beetroot, tomato, carrots and ginger and blend to a fine puree.
  3. Strain the puree using stariner.
  4. Add puree in a sauce pan. Add salt, black salt and red chili powder. Add water as per required consistency. Add lemon juice.
  5. Allow to boil. Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
