This smoothie is very healthy and low in calories. Sattu is made up of fried horse gram and fried oats (fried jaee in hindi) it will give you lots of energy whole day after taking this in morning hours because it is high in protein .people in U. P take this during summers it gives you cooling effect in your body. Generally they add just sattu flour , water and sugar ,to cut down calories i have added banana and little honey and for crunchyness few raisins and walnuts coarse powder and Instead of water i have added curd to make it more healthy.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Sattu flour(fried horse gram and fried oats powder) 4 tablespoon
  2. Yelakki banana(small banana) 2
  3. Curd 1 cup
  4. Honey 1 tablespoon or as per taste
  5. Raisins 1 tablespoon
  6. Walnuts 1 tablespoon roughly powdered

Instructions

  1. We need all these ingredients shown in picture below to make low calorie crunchy sattu banana smoothie .
  2. Take a mixer jar add in small banana pieces ,curd and raisins .
  3. Add in honey and blend them for 1 minute.
  4. Add in sattu atta, walnut coarse powder cover the lid of jar and blend all the ingredients nicely for 1 minute.
  5. After blending smoothie should look like this in picture given below.
  6. Serve this healthy low calorie crunchy Sattu banana indian smoothie in a glass and add some banana pieces ,walnut coarse powder, raisins and drizzle some honey on top and enjoy.
  7. You can serve this chilled or at normal room temperature.
