ABOUT Lava Bread RECIPE

There ia no great treat than fresh baked bread for your family. Twisted layered loaf aruffwd with roasted bellpepper sauce and italian herbs.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. FOR REDPEPPER SAUCE
  2. Redpepper 1 Big or 2 small
  3. Rosemarry 1tsp
  4. Thyme 1/2 tsp
  5. Basil 1 tsp
  6. Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  7. salt as per taste
  8. FOR BREAD DOUGH
  9. Whole wheat flour/Atta 1 cup
  10. All purpose flour /Maida 1 cup
  11. Luke warm Water 1/2 cup and little more
  12. salt 1/4 tsp
  13. Honey/sugar 2 1/2 tsp
  14. Yeast 1Tbsp
  15. Olive Oil 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. REDPEPPER SAUCE:
  2. Wash and pat dry the bellpepper.
  3. Preheat airfryer at 200*c for 5mts.
  4. Apply some Olive Oil on redpepper and place in airfryer basket for 10 mts.
  5. In between turn the pepper for even roasting.
  6. Bellpepper can be roasted in oven or at stove top.
  7. Time may vary for roasting pepper.
  8. When cool enough to handle peel off the skin .
  9. Slice the pepper open and discard all the seeds .
  10. When pepper is cool down completely add pepper and herbs in the blender and blend to smooth paste.
  11. Add Salt As per taste.
  12. TO MAKE DOUGH:
  13. Place the flour,Salt, Yeast in a large bowl and mix well.
  14. Now add honey and Olive Oil to the mixture.
  15. Add lukewarm water to make a smooth dough.
  16. Knead well on lightly floured surface for about 10 mts.
  17. Place the dough in greased pan bowl,cover and let it rise for 1hr or Until double in size.
  18. HOW TO MAKE TWISTED BREAD:
  19. Once the dough has doubled in size ,take it out on a floured surface.
  20. Roll the dough into large rectangle 18*13 inches in size.
  21. Gently spread red bellpepper puree over the dough,leaving the edges of the dough.
  22. Now starting on one edge roll the dough into a long cylinderical shape.
  23. Cut loaf down the middle length wise and open it up to expose the layers in size.
  24. Alternate crossing the pieces over each other to create a bread.
  25. Carefully move the loaf to a baking sheet.
  26. Let it rise for another 20mts.
  27. Meanwhile preheat oven at 190*c for 10.place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 30 mts pt Until brown and crispy on too.
  28. Cool at least for 10 mts before cutting.
