ABOUT Paneer tikka RECIPE

Paneer tikka is very popular and delicious dish/tandoori dish wich can be easily made at home.this recipe is for dry paneer tikka not for paneer tikka masala. Because paneer tkka masala is greavy based dish whwlere as paneer tikka ìs dry.paneer tikka is marinated paneer(coated cheese cube) aarrange in skewers and grilled or back in oven. Usually served as starter.i have made this paneer tikka in grill machine .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 grm fresh paneer
  2. 2 medium bell paper(red,green,yellow)
  3. 2 medium size onion
  4. For marination:
  5. 200-250 gm hung curd/thick curd
  6. 1 tbsp ginger-garilc paste
  7. 1 tsp ajwain
  8. 2 tbsp kashmiri mirchi powder
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. 1 tsp cuminseed powder
  11. 1 tbsp dry amchur powder
  12. 1 tsp chat masala
  13. 1 tsp black paper powder
  14. 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  15. 1-2 tbsp Oil
  16. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Preparation for paneer tikka: Chopped the paneer in big square shaped cubes.
  2. Veg. Should be chopped in square shapes. Keep the veg. And paneer a side.
  3. Making mariation for paneer tikka.: In large bowl ,take the curd and whisk till it become smooth.
  4. Add garlic ginger paste , all spices powder and ajwains. Mix all spices powder with the curd.
  5. You could also add oil at this stage if you do not want to brush the paneer tikka with the oil.
  6. Add all veg and paneer to marinated.
  7. Marinated atleast 3-4 hr and more in rafrigerator.
  8. After 4 hrs bring the marinated paneer and veg at room temp.
  9. Skewers the veg. And paneer alternetly on toothpik or skewers.
  10. Making paneer tikka: Pre heated oven on grill mode for 20 min on 300 degree.
  11. On high rack arrange the paneer skewers and brushing oil on the veg. And paneer.
  12. Grilled paneer for 30 min on both side at 300 degree till the sides of paneer are golden browen with smokey effect.
  13. half away turn the paneer skewers. Keep again in the oven and grilled till golden brown.
  14. Arrange paneer tikka on serving plate sprinkel chat masala and lemon juice on paneer tikka.
  15. Server the hot, tasty and smokey effected paneer tikka with green minty chutney.
  16. So hot paneer tikka are ready to serve.
