ABOUT Kaju Apples RECIPE

One of my most favourite sweets, that i learnt from my mom. Once you master making it at home, I bet you will stop buying from Shops.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 kg - Kaju
  2. 800 gms - Sugar
  3. 1/2 litre - milk
  4. Red food color - pinch (Bush Brand)
  5. Cloves - for decoration

Instructions

  1. Take milk, add little water in that and put kaju to rest for approx 2 hours.
  2. Strain the milk from Kaju.
  3. Now grind kaju in mixer, to get smooth paste.
  4. Now take heavy bottom pan, put sugar and kaju paste mix well. Now on Slow flame start stirring slowly and continuously for approx 10-15 minutes. (Do not over cook)
  5. Once you see, the mixture starts getting thick and just starts coming together form a lump and by touching it shouldn't not stick on your finger. Then take it off from the gas.
  6. Let it cooled down for a while, grease your hands with little ghee.
  7. Now add red food colour and start kneading to form a smooth dough.
  8. Now take little dough in your greased hands make even size small balls.
  9. Then insert cloves in each of it.
  10. Kaju Apples are Ready !!
