Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. onion 350 gms finely chopped
  2. Bitter gourd 250 gms
  3. salt to taste
  4. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  5. turmeric 1/2 tsp
  6. Amchoor 1 1/2 tsp
  7. coriander Powder
  8. sugar 1/4 tsp
  9. oil for frying
  10. 1tbs oil
  11. 1tbs wheat flour for rubbing bitter gourd
  12. 1 1/2 tsp salt for rubbing bitter gourd
  13. Thread for tiring bittergourd


  1. Wash ,peel and deseed bitter gourd by putting slit on bitter gourd.
  2. Rub flour and salt and keep for 1 hour
  3. Chop onions add all masalas
  4. Wash bitter gourd dry it with napkin
  5. Fill onion in it and tie them with thread and fry them golden in colour
  6. In a pressure cooker put oil add leftover onion masala and fried bitter gourd and 1/4 cup of water
  7. Taste the salt and fill it with steam for 10 min on slow flame
  8. Open and serve with hot chappati
