Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 medium size onions roughly chopped
  2. 1tbsp urad Dal
  3. 3whole dry red chilli
  4. 3 big size tomatoes​ roughly chopped
  5. 2tbsp Olive oil
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. Mustard seeds 1 tsp for tempering
  8. small piece of imli
  9. Pinch of hing

Instructions

  1. In a nonstick pan add oil 1tbsp . .. .
  2. To it add the urad Dal and saute till u get mehroonish colour
  3. Now add dry red chilli to it and saute further (mame sure u don't burn it) after that add onions and saute till they turn pinkish in colour .
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes and cook well with a pinch of hing and salt as per taste .
  5. Now cook the tomatoes well till the raw smell goes off .If it stick s to the pan add some water and cook well
  6. Let it cool completely add it to the blender with imli and grind well.add 3/4 tbsp water if needed
  7. For tempering. Take the remaining oil add some mustard seeds,red chilli,and Curry leaves heat well n temper it on the chutney :) Njoi with Dosa ,uttapam,or idli
