This is my own recipe of making khandwi.. Super easy + tasty..

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chickpea flour or besan- 1 cup
  2. Curd- 1 cup
  3. Water- 2 Cups
  4. Salt- to taste
  5. Green chilly paste- 1 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
  7. For Tadka:
  8. Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
  9. Oil- 1/2 cup
  10. Grated coconut- 1/2 tsp
  11. Fresh coriander- finely chopped


  1. In a non stick karahi add besan, curd and water.
  2. Beat it till u see no lumps. Now add salt, green chilly paste & turmeric powder. Mix again.
  3. Now switch on the flame and stir it continuously till u get shiny better or at least for 10 minutes.
  4. Now take them out on a clean platform or on a large plate & spread it all around.
  5. Leave it for five minutes. Now cut it as per your size and roll them out. Place them on a serving plate.
  6. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. When it starts crackle, switch off the flame.
  7. Pour it on khandwi.
  8. Sprinkle some grated coconut & coriander & serve it.
