A rich mutton curry made with loads of onion.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2kg mutton
  2. 3 Big Onion
  3. Green chilly 5
  4. Garlic 5 pod
  5. Ginger 2 inch
  6. 2 tomato
  7. Curd - 1 cup
  8. Red chilly powder -1 tsp
  9. Coriander powder -1 tsp
  10. Garam masala powder -1/2 tsp
  11. Refined oil
  12. salt

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooker sauce pan with some oil, add the chopped onion.
  2. Saute till the onion turns pink ,now put mutton and salt. Saute for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Now add the ginger and garlic [you can add chopped or paste] along with the green chilly paste, saute further.
  4. Now put all dry masala and tomato puree, add sliced onions now.
  5. Saute for 10 minutes with occasional stirring.
  6. Now put 1 cup water , close the lid, Cook till the pressure cooker releases 4 whistles.
  7. once the complete pressure is released, serve the mutton curry with some sliced onion and chopped coriander leaves on top.
