It's made with baby onions and tastes nice .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil – 2
  2. Baby onions 10-12 (peeled and whole)
  3. Fennal /saunf seeds 1tsp
  4. Mustard seed 1tsp
  5. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  6. Bay leaves 2
  7. Cinnamon 1 "piece
  8. Big Cardamom 1
  9. Cloves 4
  10. Pepprika powder 1tsp
  11. Garam masala 1tsp
  12. Turmeric powder 1tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Tamarind pulp– 1tsp
  15. For gravy
  16. Peanuts Peanuts – 1 tbs
  17. Coconut – 2 tbs grated
  18. Sesame Seeds – 2tsp
  19. Garlic Clove 2

Instructions

  1. First of all roast peanuts till it changes colour, add in sesame seeds and coconut and roast for few more mins. Blend all and make it into a fine puree.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add all whole spices,curry leaves cook for a minute.
  3. Add baby onions and cook for two minutes​.
  4. Add all powdered spices and mix well.
  5. Add water and salt.
  6. After adding water add peanut puree and tamarind pulp.cook till it leaves oil.
  7. Baby onion salan is ready to serve:innocent:
