ABOUT Baby onion sabji with a little twist RECIPE

A delicious and different curry that can be served with some roti or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2kg baby onions
  2. 2 tbsp Oil
  3. 1tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/4tsp turmric
  5. 1/8 tsp mustered seeds
  6. 1/8 tsp jeera
  7. Pinch of hing
  8. 1tsp pav bhaji masala
  9. 1tbsp dhana powder
  10. 1 tsp kasoori methi
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 2 Tomato ki paste
  13. 1/8 tsp saounf
  14. 1/8 tsp kala jeera

Instructions

  1. Peel onions
  2. Make some cut marks on the top of the peeled onions.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan.
  4. Add mustard seeds, jeera [cumin seeds] and asafoetida [hing].
  5. Add tomato paste and the spices.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes
  7. Add onions and mix well
  8. Cook for few more minutes.
  9. Add little water for the gravy.
  10. This is ready to be served.
