ABOUT Aam onion ka achar RECIPE

This is an instant home made pickle made with mangoes and onion, a delicious pickle to be served with some parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1/2kg kachi kairi (Ambi) [raw mangoes]
  2. 4 onion [sliced]
  3. 10 Green chillies [slitted]
  4. 1 cup of mustard oil [heated and then cooled]
  5. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  6. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1 tsp fennel seeds
  8. 1 tsp nigella seeds
  9. salt

Instructions

  1. Mix everything together except the oil, in a bowl. Pour the cooled oil into the mixture and toss everything well.
  2. Pour this tossed mixture into a glass jar, keep it in the sun for about 2 days and then store it in the refrigerator. serve with parathas or dal rice.
